Eurovision 2021

Working in Eurovision Song Contest requires knowledge and professional experience to create great visual content.
The idea was to create an abstract spiritual realm that isn't directly representing any religious image. I took Samantas outfit as a starting point. Samanta Tina represented a visitor, someone who is not from our world, a being. I chose to build abstraction as fractals because fractals are mathematical phenomena that are visually complex and hold repetitive patterns in self. The final image that the audience sees on the tv screen is composed of three layers. The first layer is a video on giant wall and floor screens synced with audio. The second layer comprises a camera feed, where video scenography meets the stage and actors. The third is an overlay layer composed on top of the camera layer to achieve special effects seen only inside tv screens; it's like a holographic effect.
